About Our Farm

C2 Farms is a 4th generation Carter Family Farm that was originally settled in Provost, AB by Great Grandpa Carter. Managed now by brothers Michael and Kevin Carter, who had the privilege of having Ag influence from both sides of their family, with Dad’s side being the family farm and Mom’s side running the local implement dealership. Both sides of the family held a passion for Agriculture and community as visionary entrepreneurs and forefathers in the Agribusiness world that is carried out in their fourth generation today. 

Leading the farm in today’s landscape, Michael and Kevin understand that sustainability and innovation are important aspects of a large family farm. That sustainability means leaving the land and the balance sheet in a better place than where they found it and that it takes innovation to do that. These are the guiding principles that Michael and Kevin lean on today as they manage and operate C2 Farms with their location teams.
